Plan: Free and Starter

A risk score on every COD order, the moment it is placed.

RTOGuard checks each Cash on Delivery order as soon as it comes in and gives it a score from 0 to 100. The higher the score, the more likely the parcel comes back.

Order page showing a risk score of 67 out of 100 with the reasons behind it

What the score looks at

  • Pin code: how often COD orders to that pin code came back for your store.
  • Phone: whether the number looks valid, and repeat COD orders from one phone in a short time.
  • Order history: the buyer's earlier orders with your store and how they ended.
  • Address quality: missing house number, landmark or other gaps.
  • More order signals: order value and account age, as shown on the risk card.

Where you see it

  • A risk card on the Shopify order page, with the reasons in plain words.
  • Tags on the order in Shopify, such as Risk:HIGH and RTOGuard:67, so you can filter by risk.
  • A level for every order: Low, Medium, High or Very high.
  • Medium and high risk orders go to your Call list.

What it does not do

  • It does not block checkout or slow down your store.
  • It does not cancel orders by itself. You decide.
  • It does not score prepaid orders, and they never count against your plan.
  • If RTOGuard has an error, the order goes through as normal.

Gets sharper with your data

RTOGuard learns from your own store's delivery outcomes. The model is trained only on your store's orders and is never shared with other stores. If you prefer rule-based scoring, email us and we will switch your store.

How it works

  1. Order placed

A buyer places a COD order on your Shopify store.

  2. Scored in seconds

RTOGuard reads the order and works out the score and the reasons.

  3. Tagged and shown

The order is tagged in Shopify and the risk card appears on the order page.
